Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all subscription plans purchased directly through Verkh (verkh.io). By subscribing to our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Key Points:
- Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable
- Annual subscriptions may qualify for prorated refunds
- VMC certificates are non-refundable once issued
- Partner and invoiced arrangements are governed by separate agreements
2. Monthly Subscriptions
All monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. When you cancel a monthly subscription:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- No partial refunds are provided for unused days within the billing period
This policy exists because our Free tier allows you to fully evaluate the platform before committing to a paid subscription. We encourage all users to take advantage of the Free tier to ensure Verkh meets their needs.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions receive a 20% discount compared to monthly billing. Refund eligibility depends on when you request cancellation:
3.1 First 30 Days (Full Refund Period)
If you cancel within the first 30 days of your annual subscription, you are eligible for a full refund of the annual fee. This allows you to try the platform risk-free.
3.2 Days 31 through 270 (Prorated Refund with Early Termination Fee)
If you cancel between day 31 and day 270 of your annual subscription (the first 75% of the term), you are eligible for a prorated refund subject to a 15% early termination fee.
Calculation:
- Determine the number of unused full months remaining in your subscription
- Calculate the prorated amount based on the monthly equivalent of your annual plan
- Subtract the 15% early termination fee from the prorated amount
Example:
Pro annual subscription ($950.40/year) cancelled at month 4:
Monthly equivalent: $79.20
Unused months: 8 months = $633.60
Early termination fee (15%): $95.04
Refund amount: $538.56
3.3 After Day 270 (No Refund)
If you cancel after day 270 of your annual subscription (the final 25% of the term), no refund will be provided. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your annual term, and you will not be charged for renewal.

4. Pro Tier Domain Overage
Pro tier customers who add domains beyond the base 25 are charged $5/domain/month as overage. Overage charges are calculated at your billing date based on your domain count at that time.
- Overage charges are non-refundable
- Removing domains mid-cycle does not result in a refund for overage already charged
- Your next billing cycle will reflect the updated domain count
5. VMC Certificates (BIMI)
Verified Mark Certificates (VMC) purchased through Verkh for BIMI implementation are non-refundable once issued. This includes:
- Certificates issued by DigiCert, Entrust, or other certificate authorities
- Any associated setup or validation fees
VMC certificates require trademark verification and are issued by third-party certificate authorities. Once the validation process begins or the certificate is issued, we cannot reverse the transaction.
6. Partner and Invoiced Arrangements
Customers billed via invoice (including reseller partners, white-label partners, and enterprise customers with custom billing arrangements) are not eligible for refunds under this policy.
Refund terms for invoiced arrangements are governed by your individual Master Service Agreement (MSA), Partner Agreement, or other written contract with Verkh, LLC. Please refer to your agreement or contact your account representative for applicable terms.
7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
7.1 Contact Us First
If you believe you have been charged in error or have questions about a charge on your account, please contact us directly at [email protected] before initiating a dispute with your bank or credit card company.
We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly. In most cases, we can address your concern faster than a bank dispute process, and direct resolution avoids fees that ultimately increase costs for all customers.
7.2 Zero Tolerance for Fraudulent Chargebacks
Verkh, LLC maintains a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent chargebacks. If you dispute a valid charge with your bank or credit card company without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with us:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- Upon confirmation that the charge was valid, your account will be permanently terminated
- You will be prohibited from creating new accounts or using Verkh services in the future
- We reserve the right to pursue collection of any outstanding amounts, including chargeback fees
A valid charge includes any subscription fee, overage charge, or other amount that was correctly billed in accordance with your subscription terms and this policy.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for an eligible subscription:
- Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email address and organization name
- Briefly describe the reason for your cancellation (optional, but helps us improve)
We will process eligible refund requests within 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
9. Cancellation Process
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Self-service: Log into your account, navigate to Settings > Billing, and click "Cancel Subscription"
- Email: Send a cancellation request to [email protected]
Upon cancellation, you will receive an email confirmation. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period (for non-refunded cancellations) or is terminated immediately (for refunded cancellations).
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated version date. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. Your continued use of Verkh services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
